Arthur W. Wright

Art Wright is Chairman and CEO of Discover Re Managers, Inc. having joined the company in
January 2005 as Chief Underwriting Officer. Art came to Discover Re from Genesis Underwriting
Management Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gen Re, where he was Senior Vice President
and a member of their senior management team. Previously, he was Senior Vice President,
Global Manager for the casualty and property facultative division of National Reinsurance
Corporation. He also served for eight years at Gen Re in their Hartford casualty facultative
department. Art has spent 30 years in the insurance and reinsurance industry and holds a B.A.
from Yale University.

Blaine Bontempo

Blaine leads all facets of our SMG captive business. He joined Discover Re in January 2008 from Genesis
Underwriting Management Company, a subsidiary of General Re, where he was the national practice leader
for the Captive and Reinsurance Division. As an active participant in the captive arena since the early
1990s, he has been involved with the formation of, and risk transfer for, captive insurance companies
in a wide variety of industry segments. Spending much of his early career with the Royal Insurance Group,
Blaine held posts as Vice President of Marketing as well as Vice President of Product Marketing/ Operational
systems. He holds a B.A. degree in Political Science from Baldwin-Wallace College in Ohio and an M.B.A.
from Pace University in New York.

President - Core/Individual Risk Marketing and Underwriting since January 1999. Leads the Core Organization and its seven regional offices. Prior to joining Discover Re, Mr. Cartland was Vice President of Aetna’s National Accounts Business Unit, in charge of the Casualty, Property and Excess Underwriting Units and Reinsurance Treaties which supported Aetna’s $1.2 billion National Accounts business. Mr. Cartland is a graduate of Bowdoin College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.

Edward K. Colechia

Ed Colechia has led Discover Re’s claims organization since 2007 having joined the company from the Travelers in 1997. During his time at Discover Re,
Ed has focused on catastrophic injury and significant exposure cases. In addition, he has consulted with our clients on a broad array of technical and
administrative claims issues in the unbundled marketplace. During his 15 years at Travelers, he held a variety of management and supervisory claims
positions in the property and casualty business including high exposure liability cases in the national accounts arena. Mr. Colechia holds a Bachelor
of Arts degree from Davidson College, Davidson, North Carolina.

Michael Visintainer, FCAS, MAAA
Executive Vice President and Chief Actuary

Chief Actuary. Directs all actuarial support for the business including reserve reviews,
price model support, rate filing support, reinsurance, and results monitoring & analysis.
Prior to joining Discover Re, Mike spent three years with Chubb Executive Risk in the Health
Care Division. Additionally, Mike spent one and a half years with Travelers Property Casualty
and eight years with Aetna Life and Casualty. Mike is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial
Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He received his Bachelor of Science
degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Susan Putterman

Executive Vice President. Susan is responsible for claims management, overseeing excess claims
and performing claim-consulting functions with clients. Ms. Putterman has 20 years of experience
working with reinsurance and primary casualty insurers. Prior to joining Discover Re, Ms.
Putterman worked with Continental Re and Crum & Forster Managers, Inc. Ms. Putterman holds a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science from Emory University and completed
an overseas study program at Oxford University.

Patricia Shea
Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer

Patricia Shea is Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer of the company. Ms. Shea
has responsibility for the Information Systems Department that includes all hardware, communications
and software development to support Discover Re's business. She has 25 years of systems experience
with over 15 years of that experience supporting the insurance industry. Prior to coming to Discover Re
she spent nine years as Manager of Insurance Operations in the Systems Department at Executive Risk.
Ms. Shea holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Hartford and a Bachelor of
Science degree in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University.

Mike Ignatowicz

Mr. Ignatowicz came to Discover Re in 2005 from Travelers as Chief Underwriting
Officer. Since 1998, Mike was Travelers North Region Operating Officer for
National Accounts, Commercial Lines business. Mr. Ignatowicz joined Travelers in 1980.
He has served in many underwriting and marketing roles in the Custom and National Accounts
businesses. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Central Connecticut State University
and a Masters of Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Mark D. Lacedonia, CPA, CPCU, CLU

Mark doubles in his role as Chief Financial Officer for both Discover Re and for the National Accounts Group
at our parent company, Travelers. A 22-year veteran of the Travelers organization, Mark has a public
accounting background with PriceWaterhouseCoopers where he earned his CPA. He holds an undergraduate degree from
Brown University and a graduate degree in accounting from Northeastern University.
